  • The harsh driving conditions in winter can be a test for the engine. If you need to drive in the early morning, it will make things worse. All you need to do before starting the engine is to preheat the engine with VVKB Titan-P5 engine preheater.
  • Regarding the diesel engine, it requires higher temperatures to ignite smoothly, due to its performance. Therefore, when in cold weather, diesel engines are usually more difficult to start than gasoline engines.   • Regarding the gasoline vehicle, normally the mixture of gasoline and air enters the cylinder(combustion chamber of the engine). The piston compresses the mixed gas; the glow pin works; the mixed air is burned, and then the power outputs.
  • When the gasoline engine is started in the morning at low temperature in winter, it’s difficult for the gasoline to be completely atomized. The exhaust gas passes through the sensor, and the fuel is insufficient, which will increase the supply of fuel. This arises a serious problem. In fact, the additional fuel cannot be completely burned. They are deposited on the cylinder liner. The cylinder liner is lubricated, so gas will clean away the lubrication between the cylinder liner and the piston. This kind of cleaning can adversely affect the lubrication and life use of piston rings and cylinder liners over time. Therefore, it is very necessary to preheat the engine in the winter morning. It allows the engine to return to normal condition as soon as possible.

Block Heater Installation Precaution:

1. All Your block engine heaters have been tested and approved by the TUV certificates, so you don’t need to test them again.

2. Make sure the heater inside is full of coolant, and no air in the heater hose.

3. The heater must be installed 20cm lower than car water tank and must be away from the fuel pipeline.

4. The shell of the heater must be dry.

5. Please note that when the heater is working, the temperature of the shell is similar to the ambient temperature, and the water hose won’t be so hot. So if the heater shell is very hot, please follow the Troubleshooting solution 1 to solve it.

Unit was just tossed in a box with (2) tees, (2) hose clamps, and a mounting bracket. Not enough hose clamps to accomplish install. Had to go to store to purchase (6) additional hose clamps, as well as heater hose to do the install. Once fully installed and verified no leaks I plugged it in to find that it makes an awful grinding noise while running. It does slowly raise the temperature of the coolant to where the hose feels warm to the touch, but with the grinding noise its making I do not give it very long before it is inoperable. I would spend your money elsewhere. Packaging was poor, not enough hardware to accomplish installation, and obviously something is wrong internally, likely due to the poor packaging.

Installed heater day before Christmas and ran fine for several days and now does not work, checked all the resolutions and still does not work. How do get warranty for this item. Thank you.
