I have several garden tractors/mowers. My favorite is a Kubota G1800. However, the start portion of the switch started working intermittently, then not at all. The glow plug and run feature are still fine.So, I needed a weatherproof switch that I could use to jump from the battery directly to the start solenoid. This fits the bill... my only concern is that the weatherproof rubber cover often doesn't hold up very well, and cracks within a few months... we'll see. If that happens, I'll adjust my rating.Be aware that these require an approximately 5/8" hole to install (please measure the diameter before drilling your hole), also ensure you have room for the switch and wiring as it extends approx 1 1/2 - 2 inches below the mounting surface.
