The bookplate of stand can be adjusted by tighten or loosen the knobs up to 180 degrees to meet your need.
The music stand features two height adjusting knobs. After pulling up or down the tube to meet your need, you can tighten the knobs by clockwise rotation.

Overall I think it's a quality product, especially if you need a stand that fits in a compact case for easy transport or storage. As It's very light and foldable it can wobble a bit if you bump it, but it seems pretty sturdy and is easy to set up and take down. The metal is a thinner gauge as would be expected, so I don't think it would stand up to much abuse but for my needs it should be perfect.

The only thing I don't like about it is, it's durability, it's a little flimsy.I should have bought something a little bit more substantial

For the price this is a nice stand. I like the fact that it's black and actually pretty well made.I just use it to hold sheets of lyrics because I can't remember the song lyrics. It is rather lightweight so I would not put this outside in the wind or with a very heavy songbook.Height is adjustable, and I can use it while standing and I'm 6 ft tall. Perfect for casual use.

I used it for a while and it worked, but the latch for the telescoping part is just plastic and broke. Probably good for a kid, but my big sasquatch hands tightened it too much and broke it.

Not very sturdy but great for max 5 sheets of light weight paper if you want to comfortably keep it, not great for a binder. 6/10

For my 10 year old this is light weight and he is able to put it together and fold it by himself. Price is affordable. He takes it for all his performance.
