Unfortunately, this product is terrible. The thing was barely loud enough to hear with the volume all the way. Which is not usable at all. Additionally, the sound quality is all over the place. Do NOT buy.

Unstretched the cord in only about 2 feet long, but it only stretches out to 3 feet which is still too short for my classic car that has the FM antenna in the rear, which has been too far for any other FM reciever so far.I should be able to extend the cord with a normal USB power extension though which is why I bought this one. Won't know about sound quality til summer.

FM transmitters are not the best way to hook a phone up to an older car stereo. They suffer from distortion and other types of noise pollution. It's using radio waves so it will have limitations. But, if you have an older car and just want a quick, low impact way to listen to your phone, you can't go wrong. This is easy to setup and use. You can unplug it and tuck it away when not in use. Gave this one to my brother's girlfriend to use in her 1980s Jeep Wrangler and she didn't want to get rid of the original stereo (it's a pretty nice ride). This works for her and that's what matters.

This bluetooth radio transmitter is great if you want to stream music from your phone, but you don't have a modern bluetooth equipped stereo in your car. I love that this is powered from USB, so it doesn't have to use an entire accessory outlet. I plug this into my radar detector's USB port and it works great! The display is bright so you can set the station in bright sunlight, and it's easy to switch stations. Highly recommended!

Beware. You get some relatively significant engine feedback due to the alternator powering your battery.

Didn't seem to want to stay connected, and the volume was rather low no matter what I did. I got it to use instead of my Alexa Auto, to make it easier to listen to regular radio stations when wanted, and I just am not feeling it. I will probably move it to another of my cars, but I can't see using it on a regular basis.
