This is an er11 collet for 1/4 inch cutters. Very handy for cutting foam and things of the nature. It fit the collet well, runs true. It is quite hard to remove from the nut as the snap ring is sharp but it can be done with a little work. Overall, I'm pleased. Remember, I'm cutting foam so if you are using very thin resharps, they need to run exactly centered and Very fast of you will break cutters in less than a second. Your mileage may very.

The collet worked perfectly. Good price and good product.

I purchased this so I use 1/4" bits with my 4030 ProVer. It works great, but do yourself a favor by getting another nut to go with it, they are a pain to change collets out of the nut, especially getting the 1/4" out to go back to 1/8".

It did just as I expected. My original collar was 1/8, but need to do 1/4 surfacing bit.

My cnc unit only came with a 1/8 insert. This 1/4 fit my motor perfectly and allows me to use a lot of sturdier bits in my cnc. This is a must have accessory for stock cnc motors under 300w.

Very soft material after two uses it falls out of the nut by itself, does not open, hard to push 1/4" shank in. Other than that, usable with some fiddling.
