I've used all kinds of tweezers for smd work, but this is far the best I have ever used. The pin point control is noting but amazing. I have used them with 0403 and up. I have not tried them with 0201 or 01005 as of yet.

For how expensive these are they are not practical to use. The tips are very thin which is good for delicate precision work, but one pair of these is $40-$50 and the tips will deform eventually. These close with very little force which is perfect for precision work, and I haven't used them for work yet as I am returning them but when closed the grip feels very solid like they won't slip and send your component flying into oblivion.

This is amazing, I didn't want to buy so many tweezers so I went with a trusted brand. Only down side is its expensive.

Best set of tweezers for SMD work I have ever owned. May seem pricey but if you use them on a regular basis, it's well worth it. Very comfortable to hold. These tweezers do not seem to "slip" on small 0402 / 0201 parts and so do not shoot the parts in a similar fashion to stepping on a bar of soap like so many other tweezers do. I have used them to assemble comm boards, and for personal repairs such as fixing household electronics. Solder does not adhere to them, making them easy to clean. If you do electronics assembly or build engineering prototypes, GET A PAIR!
