chair is comfortable, easy to raise and lower-which I do at least a couple of times in a day. back support is good and arms can be put up and out of the way if needed.the only thing that is funky, since the day I got it and set it up to use in my workplace I have been "static", getting shocks when touching cabinets, light switches, and even just a wall. have even gotten shocked through my shoes! I thought that would go away in time, but it has not. I will rub it with a dryer sheet and that helps for a bit. I like the chair otherwise so will just deal with it.

Easy to assemble. Very functional. Helps alleviate my sore lower back. Well worth the investment. The size is geared for larger individuals, which is perfect for me. Both stable and firm.

It was a little difficult for me to get together because one hole was drilled slightly off, but I was able to muscle it and get it together. This chair is very sturdy. I weighed over 300 pounds at the time I built this thing and sat in it to test the gas tube and it didn't wobble, hurt my bottom, or feel unsteady. I've had a lady that weighs 400 plus pounds sit in it several times and it's been totally fine. I'm not saying exceed the max weight just saying it can take more than they state and operate just fine. It's comfortable with a large seat. The person I got the chair for a 6'4" man that weights about 310 now sits in up high, comfortably, and safely two to three times a week since December when I bought it. He loves the chair. It's comfortable and being able to adjust it so high has made his job easier because he can see over the sound board. It's a great chair!

My husband and I put this chair together in a little more than 30 minutes, but I could easily have done it myself. I like the size of the seat, which was my main reason for choosing this chair. It's cushion is great for my 8 hour work day. The reviews that indicate that the foot rest, ring doesn't stay up is correct, although it is a non issue. I just leave it all the way down and it's fine. I'm 5'2 and the seat is approximately 26-27 inches from the floor. This chair changed my work day for the better.***UPDATE***I purchased this chair in early December and loved it. About a month ago I started to notice that I’m needing to adjust the height because it’s randomly lower than it was. I’ve now reached the point that I can feel it “bounce†down when I sit sometimes. The problem is slowly getting worse which likely means the air shock is not functioning as it should. Very disappointing since I haven’t owned it for 6 months yet. Deducting two stars from original review.***UPDATE #2 *** August 13,2024It is now 8 months since I purchased this chair and every 5th time I sit in it, it drops at least 6 inches. I’m not a heavy person and I don’t sit in it all day, I work from home so it’s only used Monday through Friday. Having to constantly adjust it knowing that it’s getting worse and worse is extremely frustrating after less than a year.I do not recommend.

I bought this chair for my art studio, fully extended it's perfect for the kitchen-height cabinets and counters we are installing in the office which will end up at around 36" from the floor. I like the wider seat to move around and reposition yourself when painting or drawing. I don't mind the adjustable lumbar support as it's very light, but for someone who really likes the chair but doesn't want the lumbar, you can see in the pictures if you drop the lumbar into its lowest position, you could get an angle drill bit with a Phillips tip and remove the two screws and pull it out (obviously not recommended by the manufacturer and at your own risk).The Chair is solidly built and takes about 20 min to put together. I recommend when attaching the back of the chair and the lift mechanism to the bottom of the seat, put all of the bolts in loosely so you can still move things around and line up all the holes.Great chair for the price, looking forward to putting it through it's paces!

This chair is perfect for my sewing table! The only thing I hate about it is the seat should it’s so uncomfortable I had to put an extra cushion on it. For as much as you pay me for a chair the seat should be one of the main focuses.
