I'm 6'3" - my weight = 290 lbs. and I have an elevated desk. This chair is the very best of any of the previous 4 drafting chairs I have purchased. Quality is best described as way above average. Amazing great cushion and respectful lumbar support. It should be noted that the back of the chair is NOT adjustable forward or backward, however the back offers ample good lumbar support (very cushioned and more comfortable than a mesh back). I chose to add 3" LPHY Office Chair Wheels to it just to make the rolling both on desk mat and on carpet optimal. I ALSO RECOMMEND this chair for guitar playing because the arms fold back (providing freedom to maneuver and chair provides a great foot wrest for either foot). I love it.

The box arrived undamaged. The unassembled chair was packed/protected very well. There were no missing parts. All of the bolts were clearly marked and packed separately. A quality tool is included for assembly. No other tools are needed. The instruction booklet was easy to read and not some hard-to-read, dirty photo copy that is so common today. The assembly took about 20 min with no additional hands needed. My intended use is for a garage counter. The chair itself is of very good quality and appears to be solidly built. The seat cushion is comfortable and has an adjustable height of 27â€-33â€, which should accommodate any standard height counter. My counter is 38†H and I am 5’ 10†H, and it is a perfect fit. I spent several months researching adjustable height chairs and this is what I decided would meet my needs for heavy use, garage duty. If you are looking for something similar, I can confidently recommend this product.

Very happy with my new office chair. It is roomy, comfortable and sturdy. It raises to a height that is great for my tall stand up desk.

Very comfortable. Alot of office chairs look great but feel like your sitting on cardboard after a few hours, not this one. Will not go low enough for a standard desk and the foot ring isn't wide enough to put your feet on without slightly tucking them in. I purchased for the wife to go with my barstools and made a foot rest in the garage. Works perfect for our needs.

Extremely well made and easy to assemble.Due to downsizing, I need to have one chair to adjust for all of my work spaces. It doesn't go down far enough to use at a desk but works everywhere else. At 5' 4", I have trouble getting into it. My 5' 10' husband's feet barely touch the floor.

What a GREAT chair! We redid our office and the contractor put in 24 inch high cabinets instead of 20 inch like we imagined. Unfortunately we did not realize it until it was too late, so we had to punt to fix it.Finding a good quality chair that extended to the height we needed was our answer.We needed something comfortable, sturdy and strong. I weigh over 225 lbs so something for me was crucial. When we found this chair we were hooked. It looked comfortable, strong and sturdy so we bought it. Shipping was fast and the chair was simple to put together, it took me one dog feeding to accomplish the assembly. I did it while the pups were eating their dinner. In other words not very long.Once we got it in the new office we were even more impressed. It is everything our old chair was but with the height. Strong, Sturdy and comfortable. We are so glad we went with it.. You won't be sorry if you try it. You deserve something nice!

My computer desk in my office is high so I can stand at it or sit on a high chair or bar stool. The high office chair I've had just was not comfortable. I ordered this chair and it is so plush and feel good. It was easy to put together. Casters work very well and roll easily. Armrests are high, but they feel good and you can slide them out of the way if you don't want to use them. I really like this chair. Remember, this chair is for a high table, desk, bar. It is too high for a regular sized desk.

The bottom is very thick and comfortable. There are a couple weird things about the chair though. The arms... I'm not sure why they need to go back so far? They look really strange when they are raised up, and they go so far behind the chair that they hit things when you turn. The back of the chair is strange too. It's pushed farther forward that seems necessary. It's almost like they were trying to over do the lumbar support and it didn't end well. It's just shy of being comfortable. I got this to use at a raised table when I quilt. The base height is quite high, so this chair will NOT work with a standard desk. I have back pain and this helps a little, but if the part where the back meets the chair wasn't pushed so far forward it would be much more comfortable. I'm not sure if I'll keep it yet.
