I have been using these for years now, they are my go-to string wipe product. So convenient and easy and they work incredibly well at cleaning strings and preventing future buildup of dirt, rust, skin particles, that all contribute to the death of your tone. I use these daily to wipe down my strings. Keeps them sounding and feeling great. I carefully fold them back up and place them in the package and roll it up to keep them damp and they last 4 or 5 days on one string wipe packet. Love 'em! 5 stars!

These work great. I like these better than Fast Fret and they do a good job of cleaning and preserving my strings after playing long sessions.

I have used Fast Fret for over 35 years, probably more and I like it but it’s gotten really overpriced. I decided to try the Ernie’s because they are very well reviewed, the price was right and they are easier to transport because they are not bulky. These thing work great at cleaning strings. I used one sheet on two classical guitars and one electric. They work as well as the fast frets and are easier to work with. I’m gonna stock up on these for my 30+ stringed instruments. I can’t believe I never used them before.

Like many of us, I've been playing guitar for a long time (30+ years) and I have not done a good job taking care of strings a general rule. I saw these and thought "what the heck, let's give them a try". The packets are easy to stash in my cases ad gig bags and I'm easily able to wipe down the strings of my acoustic guitars after playing them. And it seems to be making a difference. There are lots of string cleaning options out there but this is the one I've actually managed to use consistently because the packets are so convenient.

These work ok, but they don't perform miracles. You get good string coverage and it is easy to slide it under the strings and run it up the neck cleaning strings, frets and neck. One cleaning pad is enough to clean the strings top and bottom. But the strings only sounded a bit improved, and they were only 6 weeks old. I might buy some more but I might try something else. I'm not sure anything will really bring strings back to sound near new once they get the gunk on and into them. But they are better than nothing I guess.

If you get sweaty hands whilst playing then these will give your strings that extra life. I use these after every show to wipe down my guitars. I've noticed a difference when i ran out of these so make sure you get them in bulk.
