I'd been thinking about setting up a esp32 with a couple relay boards hanging off it and come to find out this exists with everything I need in one package. My only complaint is I have to get my serial breakout board and it'd be great to have USB and really be all in one. No big deal though and I got espHome on it and set up with the relays so in about 15 minutes including the time to wire it in you can control two garage doors. Then you can wire up hall effect sensors to tell the state of the door. Of course there are many other uses of course and I highly recommend espHome but it works fine with manually written code too.

I reprogrammed this to work with esphome and provide 2 switched outputs to my Home Assistant smart home setup. It works great. There are countless ways to use this. Esp's are awesome. Enjoy.
