Fit right in place on the Prusa Mini+. I had to bend out the case a little bit when first installing, but the pins fit right into place, and the firmware flashed immediately on reboot.

I used this for a school project and it worked well. Connecting was quick and easy as long as you have the ESP WiFi documentation handy. Would recommend to anyone trying to use WiFi in their project!

This was plug-and-play with my Prusa Mini 3D printer.

Purchased this based on other reviews that said it works with the Prusca. Worked like a charm with no issues. Such a big difference being able to send prints to the printer without the USB! I really didn't like the USB transfer process but got used to it. Now after being spoiled with this Wifi card, I look back and really hate the USB process now! Big quality of life luxury for less than $10 shipped. Great purchase.

What can I say? It does what it's supposed to.

Very difficult to get to work with arduino though I did eventually get it to work only to find out it wouldn't do what I needed, which was downloading google calendar data directly from google, which requires ssl, and this does not support that. I'm not basing my rating on the ssl issue as I understand why it doesn't have it, but the difficulty of getting this to work was almost unbearable. I spent a lot of time on it, though I'm sure there is a lot more examples and docs out now that my make it easier. Also, I tried the built in online update command on it and it put it into an infinite loop that I have not been able to break it out of. I tried resetting it, leaving it disconnected from everything for days, everything that I can and it won't break out of the cycle. I eventually gave up and bought a replacement.

I bought these to use in my Prusa Mini 3D printers to add WiFi capabilities. The first one worked great, instantly connected. The second one just had endless problems and would basically reset it’s connection over and over. After hours of firmware reinstalling and troubleshooting, I thought I should swap out the esp32 with the first one and boom! it was working perfectly. I bought two more and those worked great too. Obviously this small an order not a big enough sample size to draw an accurate conclusion, but just know that it sounds like getting duds with these are not uncommon.

LITTLE POWERHOUSE! This ESP8266 module is great for beginners and experts alike. Whether you just want to play with WiFi connected Arduino projects using AT Commands, or load Arduino IDE sketches to it to act as the microcontroller, this will do the trick. The 1MB Flash provides plenty of space and when I ran AT+CWLAP scan with it, it detected networks in my area I didn’t even know existed. Very Strong Signal! I also had it running everyone’s favorite ‘BLINK’ sketch in no time. When you do buy one (or 10) of these, I would recommend also grabbing one (or 10) of these little gems to pair with it/them - “DIYmall ESP8266 ESP-01 Breakout Board Breadboard Adapter PCB for Serial Wifi Transceiver Network” over at https://amzn.com/B01G6H46UK You can thank me later for the suggestion and you definitely will thank DIYmall for offering them. They make working with the ESP8266 that much easier! Happy Prototyping!

Good Product .I had a few problems for uploading my program onto it for the first time .. but then google helps .If anyone else is having a problem a problem then the GPIO pin has to be made ground then reset then release them to enter flashing mode .And through the pins are 5 V tolerant they are meant to work with 3.3 V ,so use them at 5 V at your own risk .And the problem which i face often . Power Issue . The Module draws a lot of current , that why best is to use external source (with common ground very important) .

The hardware is good enough to work but it should be noted the firmware is a bit old and it might cause some problems with WiFi connections and blynk. To check the firmware version please use AT commands (you will get many tutorials on youtube/google). It's recommended to update/flash the latest firmware for most efficiency (you will get many tutorials on youtube/google regarding Esp8266/01 Firware Flash).
