Drop forged in a single piece from EN9 high carbon steel to provide it with lasting strength and durability, this handy tool has a hardened edge to allow it to cut into and score the surface of tough materials faster, leaving cleaner cuts and breaks. The shaft is painted in Estwing blue to provide increased protection for the tool from rust and corrosion. The hexagonal shaft profile of this 4-inch wide tipped chisel makes it easier to hold without worrying about it twisting during use. Ideal for use in masonry finishing, brick cutting and shaping / breaking a variety of finished and unfinished stone.

Had 4" blocks that needed to be cut in half. Scored all sides. Chiseled around numerous times and the block cut in half!! Project done! Great tool!

This tool made removing old tile so much easier. What would have taken weeks, only took a few days. This tool made the possible!

This is exactly what I needed and it's already helped me immensely with several projects around the house. From breaking off rock pieces, to separating glued on stairs, to breaking off tiles. This hunk of carbon steel hasn't even batted an eye. The paint is obviously chipping off in the areas of contact, after hard use - but this thing is heavy duty and did not even bend.
