I guess the phrase “You get what you pay for.†holds true in this instance. Handle poorly secured to metal shaft of chisel making it impossible to securely grip and difficult to use. Blade went dull very quickly.

ive got a few chips in the edge, but im also hitting it pretty hard so its good

These are excellent chisels, and I thought the protective guards would be fantastic to avoid those misses. However the guard should be fixed and they are not. Instead they easily slide up and down the shaft of the chisel making them more dangerous than safe. By loose, it is impossible to drop the chisel down on a rock with out the handle sliding all the way down the shaft.
