I was not able to make this work on my 98 chevy truck, they sent a second one right away, second one did the same thing, the light would turn on as soon as engine fired up, it was wired correctly according to instructions, customer service seems great though. I'm sure I'll be refunded.

I bought three. Out of the three only one turned on at all. In no way did it go off my RPM. I'd say 90s vehicles maybe, but anything newer it won't work properly. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Can't beat it for the price. Don't know what the others were talking about dimness, very easy to see racing in full sun for hours on end. Installation was easy.

Works just fine. Everyone complaining obviously did not hook it up correctly. I did need to epoxy the lens for the light inside the housing as it will rattle if you don’t.

First off the light goes off what seems like at random. It won’t stay consistent with what the rpm adjustment Nob is at. I did a 1/8 mile pass last weekend and 1st gear it lit up at 4800 then 5300+ in second. It’s not consistent. The mount was designed horribly. Not sure what the plan was there, screws going opposite directions in the mount. That’s not possible. You could clamp it to a steering column or something. Metal is thin and not painted well.

Easy hook-up. My only issue was the red lens rattled pretty bad. My Rod produces substantial engine vibration and the rattle was constant. Easy fix. Just added a thin bead of silicone to the inner lens and we’re good to go. 3-1/2 stars

Seemed to work fine during bench testing. Once installed to my car its no where near accurate. Set it to the rpm and 5/5 times it will light up at a different rpm. Not only is the rpm wrong and inconsistent, its very delayed. Set to 3k, rev to 3k and the light doesn't come on until the car is back to idle. The design is awful, once mounted you can not see if you need to reset the rpm. There are no marks on the sides like others.

Item doesn't not work stay on solid any RPM, followed installation installation. I don't recommend this item.

Works well but with a slight delay. Install in a mustang GT 96 set to 5000 turns and it turn red at 5200. You just need have a 200 turns in advance and it work very well.Good for price!
