The part was bent in half and crammed into an undersized box. I thought I would have to return it, but I used a hair dryer to heat it and get it back into shape. I was lucky it turned out good.

Item showed up folded in half inside of box, so there was a large crease in the middle. It is also light gray in color, not black like advertised. Installed easily with your own hardware.
