I got a pair of these for my son and his cousin to play with over the holidays. They are very bright (maybe too bright for little kids) and the battery never ran out of juice while they were in use. I'm a fan of rechargeable flash lights since my kids tend to leave them turned when they are done playing.I have a number of more expensive, name brand head lamps (black diamond, petzl) and these aren't much different from a comfort and performance perspective. Will see how they hold up but the quality seems solid.

I bought this headlamp to wear when running at night. Right off the bat, I noticed that reflective street signs are lighting up when I'm at least 30-50 feet away (if not more) so the light is definitely bright. I like that the lamp's angle can be changed easily, but it stays put at the desired angle, even if it's being bounced around as I run. My normal route has me on a somewhat busy street that is pretty well lit, so in those stretches I have the light mostly forward-facing so I'm more visible; I look down if I need the light closer to where I'm stepping if I'm approaching a dark area of a bad part of the sidewalk. When I go on a side street that is much darker, I angle the light down to better illuminate the path just ahead of me.I drive, walk, and run in my neighborhood at all hours, and I know as a driver how difficult it can be to see some pedestrians, day or night, since many intersections are at odd angles or side streets are steep hills. On numerous occasions with this light, I've had vehicles stop for me when I'm still 10-20 feet away from the intersection, which would never happen during the day. Clearly, I'm visible to them, and that's a good thing (I also wear a reflective vest, and if you're running at night, I suggest spending a few bucks on one, as well). Recently, a vehicle came to a stop before it reached the top of the hill at the intersection I was crossing to give me plenty of room. I was surprised by that, but I'm not complaining.During a recent power failure, this lamp also came in handy so I could see my way through a pitch black house and in the yard when I took my dog out. When I had to do some yard work at night, having a headlamp was much easier than losing a hand to a flashlight, and wherever I looked was lit.I find the lamp to be pretty comfortable--it's not too heavy, and I'm not sure there's much that could be improved to make something strapped somewhat tightly to your forehead more comfortable--and no problem to wear for the 30-45 minutes I usually have it on. Every once in a while I charge it, and I've never had the power run out. Considering how much more expensive many of the other lights designed for runners are, I'm more than glad I went with this one. If you really need the super bright light some of them offer (running on pitch-black trails, for example), those may be worthwhile. If you're a casual jogger, this is a great buy.

Product works as advertised. Provides the right mix of lighting options and intensity. Great for hunting and for emergencies.

This item works okay. It is pretty bright for a headlamp, and I like the red and green light options. However, the headlamp only lasts about 4 hours per charge. And recharging takes a really long time. I wrote to the seller and explained these issues, and they kindly sent me another of the same headlamp, but the new one has the same struggle. I used my headlamp every day, so having 2 now helps because I can rotate them while the other recharges, but I really wish the charge lasted longer and recharging was quicker!

So far, so good. We’ve only used once but my 4 yr old loves it for our evening walks in the winter when it’s dark at 4:30 haha. He loves the different color options too. And it has a nice red light also on the back for extra visibility from behind. Easy to charge also. Would buy again.

I've bought lots of headlamps in the past. I use them regularly for work and recreation. For the price, this is as nice, simple, and tough as I have ever had. It recharges very fast and is plenty bright. I would definitely recommend this.

I work in a cannabis cultivation operation and this headlamp is perfect for working in the grow rooms during light dep. Needed a cheap, bright, rechargeable green headlamp and this one nailed it, will probably buy a second one due to value and quality. Headlamp is fully functional while charging and uses the Android charging cable which means portable battery packs or charge sharing with phones are a viable option with this lamp. I bought it for the green light but the white light is also pretty bright. The tail light is great for helping locate me inside the plants and the whistle would come in handy if I ever had to signal for help or attention. Pretty feature heavy for large cultivation operations for a headlamp.

Why? Because it's one of the only--if not THE only--lights that has a dimmable red light. If you fish at night, especially from a boat, you already know how important it is to have a red light. It enables you to see and operate your gear AND the boat without destroying your nighttime vision. Almost as important, but certainly very convenient, is being able to control the intensity of the red light--sometimes you just need more light to see things (like how the fish is hooked so you can get the hook out), and sometimes less (like when you're waiting to hook one but still have to control the boat). These lights meet the test. What's more, the bright white light is but a button push away should you need it or want it--and it's a very bright white (also dimmable), as is the green light. In short, given the features and flexibility of this headlamp it's definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it.

It was a gift to my husband. He loves it!! Loves everything about it. It last long before it needs to be charged again. It is bright enough to work with it. Loves the red or green light for seeing in the dark without turning on the bright white light. He's been using it regularly for almost a year.BUT last week one of the very small plastic pins holding the lamp to the headband where you tilt it broke. So my husband found the smallest screw he had and that's what is holding it together and he can still tilt it. But why make this part so small and with plastic!

I bought three of these over the past three years. The very first one I am still using. I have been using it a lot in in harsh environments. It's all covered in grease and paint. I once broke the housing, but glued it together. The light still works and the battery life is very good. The second light I gifted to someone, and the brand new one will be my backup light when I need it. The only point to improve upon is plastic framing. The plastic is brittle a bit and the fine bits start crumbling after a few months. I had to modify my first light to keep it useable.

Bought it primarily for astrophotography for it's red light and rechargeability. Red light works great by not ruining your vision against the night sky. It recharges and lasts a long time, has good value. Works great for camping too. Would purchase a second pair if needed. Great product!
