This Quad processor is one of the best still out on the market with clean, crisp SD image processing for 4 channel mode in real-time, full color! Lots of options in the OSM with Channel Titles, Motion detection, Time/Date. This model even has the VCR Loop-thru for those who still have Time Lapse Recorders (I seriously doubt anyone still does).This Quad is perfect for those who need to consolidate multiple cameras on one channel of a DVR. Again, the picture produced by this Quad is very clear and looks great on a DVR. I have three of these models and all of them work great!

While it works to display my cameras, the date/time feature is defective. I returned the first unit as it would not keep time, in fact, the seconds went all the way up to 99 or they display letters and numbers. The replacement unit has the same issue. You can see what the seconds show in the picture.Definitely won’t buy again.

Idk what I'm doing wrong but the first unit was a dud on arrival and then the second unit displays a black and white image. It's so bad, it's useless as a Sercurity system. I attached a photo and you can guess what's going on.

It does do what it says, but it degrades the picture quality. Thought it was my camera's, untill i unkooked them one at a time and connected them directly to the monitor. Hooked directly they gave a much sharper picture, without nearly as much static/jump. If your looking for a cheap in price and quality quad splitter, this is it...

This little jewel is all it is advertized to be. Packs a lot into a little package. When I thought I had an issue with it (Self inflicted) the seller immediately contacted me, and got their techs involved to assist. This was not their issue, and I found out later. The fact remains; they stand behind their product!! Good on them.

I'm using this unit with 4 cameras, a Koolertron 7 Inch HD FPV Monitor for off road and 4x4 travel.the good:* easy to use - individual buttons on box and remote control selects picture in picture, quad display, or pick any of 4 cameras individually.* standard bnc connections that most home security systems use.* has 2 bnc outputs (identical signal) one for monitor one for video recording.* has a built-in battery to keep settings.the bad:* BNC connectors are notoriously poor when moving about.* surface mounted chips are machine soldered and look good, all other electronic parts (the stuff that rises above the board) are poorly soldered as are the bnc connectors, I re-soldered all of them and because I'm using this off road I'm using electronics grade RTV to stabilize all those components so they don't vibrate.* menus, besides basic monitor selection, is a bit painful to scroll through.* built-in battery is soldered to the board.* The remote has to be pointed directly to the front of the box, I believe this is because the receiving unit is sunken below the case. I'm going to try unsolder it and raise it up.Even with all those bad points, I'm still giving it 4 stars because it works as advertised and was inexpensive.
