These are the recommended water filter for my refrigerator and they work well. I have tried using a store branded water filter from a name brand home improvement store and it was a pain to install and had water leaking during that process. The few dollars that I saved were not worth the hassle that I had to deal with during the installation. With these, the installation was painless and they snap right in with a quick twist. It is also recommended that you cycle a few gallons before drinking from it, but after that, it provides clean drinking water.

I want so bad not to purchase this water filter , because of the price, but I bought it once before and the results were amazing. I saw a cheaper brand here in the Amazon store. You could get three for the price of this one. So glad I didn’t make the wrong choice. This filter is worth every penny. It’s not about the compatibility, fit , smell , or size. It’s about clean, fresh, and great tasting water..

Dislike is the price, but since this is where I get my drinking water from. I used an after market filter and had particles in my water for over a month, I used a counter water filter to filter these particles out, a waist of money and time!

2023 Whirlpool fridge:Water pressure is very good; I had no issues. For those that complain about discoloration they need to read about proper installation. You will need to run about a gallon of water through it before consumption. After running a gallon of water to get rid of air and saturate the filter, it will be clear and ready for use. Installing was simple. Works as stated and works very well. The only downside is it’s too expensive and they recommend changing everything 6 months. That’s ridiculous. I would rather not have a filter then. However that’s the fridge manufacturers that are doing that. This product works well.
