Weary of low end plastic mats for my carpeted office, I purchased this tempered glass version.The 3Γ’β¬β’x4Γ’β¬β’ size was ideal for my office. My office chair rolls on the glass like itΓ’β¬β’s on ice. The tempered glass is easy to install once you get it unpacked. It is robustly packed and arrived in perfect condition.It appears very durable, is crystal clear and the sale price made it a must have for me.Even the best cheap plastic mats crack over time on carpet. This mat will not.There is an unmarked brown envelope on the packaging. It contains a series of round clear silicone self adhesive feet. They went flying around the room when I opened the envelope so use care when opening.Even the smallest 3Γ’β¬β’x4Γ’β¬β’ chair mat is quite large in the package. It may require 2 people to take a larger one to a second floor.Very happy with product. It looks great, is performs well and I hope itΓ’β¬β’s the last one I ever buy.

First, the product is premium and enhances the look of your home office. Second, they are very well made and heavy duty. We have never had a problem rolling or moving around.I bought myself one for my home office and a second larger one for my husband's home office. He is much heavier than I am - so I was a tad worried, but we've had two for over two years and we both work from home - and have had zero issues. At the time I bought our glass mats, I bought my son a plastic mat. I'm writing this review because I just bought my son a glass version. The plastic mat is curling at the edges, moves around a ton and is just ugly.

48x52Γ’β¬Β tabbed. Excellent desk chair mat. Delivered quickly. Packing was superb to completely protect the glass during shipping. It is heavy to move around. My wife and I were able to carry it up a flight of stairs (still in the box) with no problem, but I donΓ’β¬β’t think I could have by myself. The beveled edges are a Γ’β¬Εgame changerΓ’β¬Β and definitely worth it. The chair rolls right back on if you roll too far back off the edge and no toe stubs on the edge. The tabbed end is great since I sit close to my desk and the chair wheels extend underneath and stay on the glass. The chair wheels roll on it nicely. I thought about upgrading my chair wheels to the sleek rollerblade type wheels as advised on some reviews, but my 20-year old chairΓ’β¬β’s Γ’β¬Εold-schoolΓ’β¬Β flat type wheels work great on the glass. The glass does not move around on the carpet at all and the glass does not bow or dip. I canΓ’β¬β’t believe I waited this long to switch from the plastic type of mat. I absolutely love this chair mat and it looks great in my study. It is expensive. It took me several weeks to convince myself to spend that much on a chair mat, but I am glad I did!

So far, this chair mat has been awesome. Very smooth, very sturdy and looks great. Expensive so I am crossing my fingers it will remain worth it!

This product is by far the best thing since sliced bread. I initially was skeptical because I could not imagine a glass mat could withstand the weight. That said, I started with a plastic mat from Staples. Needless to say it went right back. The weight of the chair alone put indentations which made moving around like being in quicksand. I thought I would give the glass mat a shot since the reviews were over the top. Much to my surprise the durability is unbelievable. It has a very clean sleek classy look unlike all the big box store sold mats. The beveled edge is one of a kind which makes it effortless to slide on and off. I purchased the smaller mat but once I saw how durable it was along with the clean classy appearance I ordered a larger mat. I will tell you the customer service of this company is top notch. I sent the seller a message and within a very short period of time he responded. I sent additional messages regarding the larger size on a Saturday and not only received a response from the owner but he offered his direct number to call with any questions. He and his staff truly know what it takes to run and maintain a successful business. They put the customer's needs on the forefront. If you are uncertain whether or not to purchase this product I can tell you there will be no regrets. As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". This product is worth every penny and the bonus is impeccable customer service.

Works well but slippery if you are wearing only socks. Does a great job over the plastic ones.It does creep slightly over time and needs to be adjusted back into position.

I have been using this mat for several months now, and it's performance is outstanding. Still looks great. Done with the plastic ones, this is the way to go. Worth the extra cost.
