I mounted this on a cheap harbor freight grinder and it works great. I use it to deburr aluminum and so far haven't had any problems.

worked great but with an arbor adapter it was a little too wide to keep the outside guard on my bench grinder.

I was expecting this to be added to my "rock collection" of stone wheels that I absolutely hate, but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. This is now one of my go-to tools for finishing metal. I ran this wheel at 2850RPM, be aware higher RPM may not be good for the wheel itself.Pros:- The buffing power is honestly mind blowing. Due to the flex of the wheel, it really spreads pressure evenly so you don't end up with gouges or lines. This takes almost no effort which I know people will be hesitant to believe, but it really takes next to no effort on small parts. The other end of my buffer has a cloth wheel, but I don't really think it will add much value at this point in time, because this wheel already exceeds my buffing expectations for anything I make.- It works fantastic on the outside of 1.5" stainless square tube cut on a band-saw.- Lasts a surprisingly long time for a consumable.- Aluminum is no problem. I didn't extensively test hundreds of feed of aluminum, but it didn't seem to gum up the wheel at all.Cons:- Flexible yes, but not super flexible. The diameter is large (6"), so it is difficult to work it into little corners because there's a broad angle of attack on the wheel. If you force the wheel to flex into the corner, you could potentially be burning through the wheel or gouging your work while trying to coax the wheel edge into the inside corners of a square tube. But, in a pinch it will do it.- Came without any labeling on the wheel, only a generic small 1x1 inch label that didn't show the brand name Pro-Graad. I still received a quality wheel, but it would be nice to have some assurance that it is labeled as the correct product. It would also be wise so people could re-order from this brand.

This wheel did a superb job buffing the receivers of a couple of shotguns that I had been restoring. It spreads out evenly and effectively, and it takes very little pressure to buff metal to an impressive finish. This has eliminated several steps in changing to different wheel consistencies, and I appreciate the time that it saves me. This wheel last for an impressive amount of time considering how much work it does. I highly recommend this for anyone who has polishing work on metal, as it does the job as well or better than any other wheel I have used.

Higher priced than similar products. Selected because product has a higher rpm rating than others. Unusual diameter of 7 inches, not a problem if running on 8 inch grinder without guard. Comes with spacers for use with std diameter shafts. Very well balanced with very little runout. In my estimation provides best mirror like finish with light pressure, avoid overheating.

There's more runout (both radial and lateral) than I'd like to see, so at least on a new wheel, the work chatters. (Maybe that will ease with break-in; only time will tell.)The actual buffing performance seems good.
