The product is very well-made. The installation is easy, especially if you use the guidelines of soaping up the edge and slicing the undercarriage were needed for any narrowing of your gap. My 1 1/8 ” product covered very nicely and with the soap and slice technique, I was able to finish the last 5 feet that was only 1 inch gap because of the bad pouring of cement 40 years ago. Thanks!

I ordered these to see if the replacement joints in my driveway could be replaced with one of these samples, The items only cost $.01 but the shipping cost for the envelope was $11.54!!!!! Not only that but the cost to cover my driveway expansion joints would have been close to $600!! None of the samples fit the entire driveway gaps so I would have had to buy several different sizes which would have defeated my goal of a uniform look. Company should have shipped these for free or a reasonable price! I’m still fuming about the shipping cost for an item that wouldn’t work for me.

Small, roughly 2" samples in all of the widths mentioned in the description. Good idea to get this before you decide to purchase the product since it's supposed to be a very snug fit and simply measuring can be imprecise. I thought that my gap had a bit of variance and would need to splice two widths together, but using the sample proved that the 7/8" was compressible enough to handle the whole span. Just use a mallet to hammer it in and a screwdriver to pry it back up along the length of the gap to check the fit. Dinged them a star as the samples came in a flat rate USPS box which clearly stated that the shipping cost was a few dollars less than what they're claiming here. Seems like they could have been more forthright that they were adding a handling charge or material cost on top, especially as this is just promotional material for their product.

They look and work great. Takes a little prep work, not super easy but worth the work. Get the hollow ones as they install easier and will give a better fit. I ordered from the manufacturer as they sell it buy the foot.

I need to replace rotted wooden expansion joints in my driveway and 300 ft. of sidewalk. This product seemed exactly what I needed. The product does what it says. But the spaces where I need to install them isn't uniform in size! I have no idea how much of which size I would need and how much cutting and splinting I'd have to do!It would be nice if the material was a bit more flexible so I could compact it or not as the space I'm filling changes.I'm not willing to chisel out the cement to make one size fit in all the spaces. So..... Back to the search for a solution.

Have not used it yet. What I like it came with instructions and different sizes of slab to determine what size you would need. The sizes are writted on the slab sample.

I first got the sample kit, which is a great idea the company came up with. They send you samples of tubing that are different sizes and depths. I was able to find the exact size I needed for our driveway. I took out all the old and replaced with this product. It was easy to install and gave our driveway a super clean/sleek look. I wished all home projects were this easy to do and had such good results.
