I just wanted some weights for my az gti im not using the bar right now. this is one of the cheapest ways to get some couterbalance weights for my telescope setup

This does the job, but I have major concerns about thread strippage. I think this could have been engineered way better to have a shorter extension off of the mirror box and still provide the weight needed for balancing.

I needed some extra counterweights on my ES Exos Nano equatorial mount, and these worked well. My refracting telescope is now balanced.

I'm a bit peeved I spent as much as I did on my 12" second Gen truss tube Explore Scientific Dob only to have to pay extra for what it would not function properly without.
