Had to replace 8 interior prehung doors. These brackets made it a breeze. Easy to install, can be adjusted for out of whack jamb opening and they attach to both sides of the door jamb making for a strong and sturdy attachment. No extra screws thru the hinges needed. Used 7 per door and they will not be moving or need future adjustment. For a weekend warrior DIYer these things are a godsend. These things probably saved me 10 hours of fighting with shims and hinge screws. Can easily hang a door by yourself with these brackets. Will never hang another door without them. A bargain at twice the price.

Makes hanging door by yourself, simple and fast. Don't know for sure, but the design looks as if re-adjustments to door in the future will be simpler and require less work.

These door hangers works really well for me. They are fast and help with perfection. This style that secures BOTH side of the door is the way to go. It's easy to readjust if necessary since it uses screws and not nails. They don't cost money so much as they save money by lowering labor time and increasing accuracy. We put 3 on each side and use a shim once in a while to fine tune the very bottom of the door. We put a guy on each side of the door but it will work with one person if needed.

I'm certainly not a pro, but a capable DIYer. Though, thus far, hanging doors has been my nemesis. However, I found that these do help with hanging interior doors. It's pretty straight forward to install on the door jambs with the included screws. My only real gripe has to do with the thickness of the brackets. They seem a little too thin to me. I get that they need to be thin enough to bend around the door opening and for adjustment. However, when screwing it into the wall, the screw head will deform the bracket causing it to bow at the contact point. This is a bit of a pain when dealing with an old house whose opening may no be perfectly square or the drywall doesn't fit 100% flush against the stud. Once it's screwed in place for the first time, it doesn't leave much room for adjustment. This is due to the bracket now being deformed around the initial screw point. You have to carefully bend the tabs with pliers, hoping to at least somewhat straighten them out if it's too bent and you need to readjust. The brackets are completely covered by the door casing and so far I see no stability issues. If the tiny tabs that grab onto the door jamb stick out, you can lightly tap them flush. Overall, a helpful invention that may slow down the process for a pro or more experienced DIYer.Tips for those like me: If hanging a solid core door with these, either get a second person, or have some shims handy to lift the latch side of the door. The doors are hefty and it does make it difficult to line up and screw in the top bracket on the hinge side. Be sure to use the extra long screws to insert into the middle hole of the top and bottom hinges as well. These brackets allow for it and also recommend it for heavier doors. Also be careful of the alignment of the screw in reference to the plumb line. You have about an inch of adjustment, but if you're too far off center it becomes kind of a pain.

So I was nervous about hanging doors as I’ve never done anything like that before. I did some questioning on a DYI Facebook page and someone recommended a product like this one. After browsing Amazon this product seem to be far superior as you mount on both sides of the door frame which keeps everything align perfectly. The hardest part is screwing in the brackets and the rest is easy peezy lemon squeezy! I’ve hung about 10 door so far and I can knock one out in about 5 mins. I do recommend going to harbor freight and picking up a 6’ level to make sure your hanging the door frame plum. 🤙🼠great product. I highly recommend.

Love these things. Took a bunch of the stress out of installing pre-hung doors. My only issue is that the screws that mount them to the jamb are quite small, so it takes a steady hand. It's quite easy to get a shiner (screw that sticks out) if you don't screw them in straight. I would recommend predrilling with a bit stop. This predrill will give you a steady surface to press on. Just don't predrill too big. Also, they will slow down your nails, so if you're going to shoot a finish nail in it, increase the power on your nail gun a bit. Just don't hit the screw and it will go through. With these, the only think you'll have to worry about is if the floor is level. If you're installing prehung doors, get this. There's some cheaper ones that only attach one side, but these will do both sides of the door.

I am a trim carpenter for 35 years. I have hundreds possibly thousands of doors. I won’t hang another door without them ever again. Obviously for pre-hung doors, but also for bypass, casework and millwork in door or window openings. After seeing the idea I could make my own but for a couple of bucks per door more, put it on the customer, part of the job. If you have no or little experience hanging doors this will improve your work tremendously.Honestly, guys no b.s., almost no shims needed, very solid installation. I mean good door installs. Not just cheaply apartment door hollow cores, solid core, heavy doors. Usually I use at least 6-10 3†screws on a single door behind the stop and under hinge beds. I pad the hinge side of the opening plumb and then get going. This way is even better. Do yourself a favor try them. These guys don’t give me money. Although if any of you guys are listening, I am wide open for it. It’s 2-3 more doors more per day per man. With two guys that are dialed in it is a complete game changer.

This is the most time saving product for door installation. Doors were installed square and plumb in under 15 minutes.

these did speed up the installation process but your ruff openings need to be fairly close to the actual door frame dimension because the tabs don't stick out that far. also the tabs do bend easily making it possible to move the door in and out after installation, once the trim is installed it seemed fine.
