My husband ordered this, and we were very happy with it. It's large and will hold a dozen small bass. We like that it folds and stores easily. Unfortunately, we stored it in our boat in our shed, and a mouse family used it for their buffet. My husband took fishing line and "sewed" it back together. It held nicely for our next fishing excursion, but the mice held another banquet. Sadly, it's a goner. While we recommend this basket, we also recommend storing it in a plastic container away from vermin.

I must admit, this is a really well put together basket. It has no metal parts to rust. The rubber material is thick and very flexible. The floats keep the opening well out of the water. There isn't much they could do to improve this.

We use the floating basket during wade fishing.I tie it to a belt buckle and it floats beside me.It will hold more fish than I'm interested in cleaning at one time. The basket has held up good.

Over all awesome little fish basket. Held all the fish and survived being hauled up a spillway. The opening/cordage to keep closed could be done better. You may be in trouble if you can't tie knots and you let it untie.

I use this to hold my caught fish (even 16 inches) and keep out predators like otters from stealing them. It's easy to open for putting in new fish and it floats on the surface. I like the long rope for tying it to the dock or pier. It keeps fish safely fresh for a long time.

I purchased this unit as a birthday gift for my 11 year old grandson who wants to spend the entire Summer fishing. This floating bait and fish container was a specific request for a gift. He lives on a lake here in Minnesota and he has his own small fishing boat, so I expect this container will get constant use. Max has been fishing and baiting his own hooks since he was 5 years old. I considered the larger size of this product but decided this size would be more than adequate based on how often it will get used. This unit is well made and very sturdy and should provide many years of service. The purchase includes a bag with handles that makes the unit easy to store and carry.

Works for a small amount of bait. If it was twice the size it would be perfect. The material is great, rope is of the lowest quality.

Great item for keeping live bait fresh when I'm fishing from my kayak. Bet it'd be great for keeping fish too but I do catch and release. Causes a little drag on yak but not bad. Best thing I've found so far for my live bait.

This is perfect for some lake fishing or to hang off the dock while you clean out your live well in the boat.I fish with a tandem kayak and it worked great! As soon as got close to my limit it was definitely heavy to paddle 🤣Durable rubber like netting is very good

So although i ordered and the size said extra large the size i got was a small as indicated by the s on the bouy... holds an 18" fish pretty good tho... furthermore i didint like the rope used as it dosint really like to keep a knot and i have had the knot slip and have to swim after my basket so i switched to a better rope i found at my locat dollar store witch would be the white rope
