Worked great on my 99 foreman 450 es. Like most reviewers I ditched the factory u bolts and opted for slightly bigger and heavy units from a hardware store.Fitment worked great and the bolt holes lined up for the badlands 2500# winch. The fairlead did NOT line up and I had to drill new holes for it. Not a big deal for a farm quad. If you look in the pictures you'll see next to the failed where my holes are to the factory holes.I would buy again if I had another four wheeler to mount a winch on.Harbor Freight badlands winch model #56258

Installed this on a 2000 Honda Foreman 450. The bend in the plate or the dimensions were not perfect to allow it to sit flush on my frame. When installing the back u-bolts, couldn’t tighten them enough so that the plate would touch the frame. I was afraid I might pull the threads. Also, the u-bolts that came with it are junk. Spend an extra $25 and buy some stainless steel ones that are a little longer. Other than that, I’m satisfied with it. Didn’t have to remove any parts from the ATV to install it which was nice.

Made installing the winch in my Honda easier, but not perfect. The winch plate isn't bent quite enough to match the contour of the atv frame. The hardware is garbage. Go buy yourself some quality clamps before even starting. The steel plate is made plenty heavy, but the hardware is worthless.

Easy to install. Easiest to bolt winch to plate before installing on atv. Seems sturdy, not much more that can be expected from such a simple item.

I ordered this to save time installing a winch on a second Honda Foreman ATV as the first one I just welded the plate that came with the winch to the frame which was pretty straight-forward and it allowed me to mount the winch lower in the frame vs where this one resides which has pros and cons depending on the situation. While the plate is fine for the most part (although the angle it's bent at is not exact) the U-bolts are a little too light for the application not to mention the main problem of them being too short to get the washer and nut started. I had to go get new U-bolts like others that gave a review. I would suggest the supplier just charge a couple more bucks and supply slightly heavier and slightly longer U-bolts. I wasted about an hour trying to get the supplied ones to work only to wind up getting new U-bolts anyway.

Lots of previous users complained of the poor quality mounting hardware. I had no issue. My poor old bike has worked hard and little lines up anymore. Knowing this, I was prepared for a battle.Figment was very good considering, winch mounted onto it easily and all was fine

A nice piece of kit but, looses marks for the really iffy U clamps. Very cheap quality U clamps. I don't trust them. Although the metal plate is pretty solid.Finally went install it, a few months later and...damn clamps! Really cheap and was not long enough in two areas since the frame is a notch larger at the main frame.I will have to make or find longer for the back area.I'm frustrated having tried my best to get it to work.
