I had bought eyelet pliers at Hobby Lobby that were just murder on my arthritic hands to squeeze, this set is so much easier on my hands and I was able to do 20 eyelets today for my sewing project! I would recommend this set, bonus - they are magnetic metal which is what I needed, the eyelets stick well to the magnets for my purpose.

The eyelet punch works great and there's quite a few color options for the grommets. The eyelets are fairly thin so I wouldn't use them in heavier crafts or anything that's likely to get wet.

I appreciate the assorted set, but you don't sell the eyelets by themselves for replacement. We would also appreciate the same number of each color. I only got 2 pink.

These literally explode when pressed because the metal is so thin and poorly designed. Just look at the photos. The colored versions in this kit seem to be slightly better than the gold but are hit-or-miss. They should provide pics of the pressed eyelet and now I see why they didn’t. Buy at your own risk. One extra star because the color selection and I just feel bad leaving one star - although this is junk.

When the tool works, it's good; when it doesn't, it's not. I couldn't get some eyelets to look the way they were supposed to. Following a suggestion from another user, I watched a YouTube video to see if there was anything I could do to make it work properly all the time. I realized I was doing it slightly wrong, which was affecting the results. The quality of the grommets, backing, and eyelets plays a significant role in the outcome. Similar to another user's experience, my set didn't come with gold backings for the gold eyelets. Being someone who enjoys organizing small items, I spent a couple of Criminal Minds episodes sorting the eyelets and organizing them by color.

Love it and have made a TON of ornaments with it. Watch a you tube video on how to use before you dive in. How you think it would work and how it works are two different things ha. So simple when you know how.

300 colored eyelets, 300 silver backings, 100 gold eyelets - 0 gold backings. Why provide 100 gold eyelets and not the backings? Also, it sucks that the silver backings are not separate from the eyelets and I have to dig through the eyelets for the backing.
