Used to fix an aluminum bus window frame which has 16x 8-32 to mount it to the chassis.Similar to other brand names, worked just as well.

Shipped with a 6-32 STI tap, which I didn't notice until I tried to use it. I bought the correct tap on Shars (SKU 415-7345) and everything else in the kit worked fine.

I bought a used Holley 4150 carb off *bay and found that the threads had been stripped for the accelerator pump cover. They are tiny threads #8x32 and a little over 1/8" inch deep. This kit allowed me to drill to the correct depth and install the stainless coil type inserts. I ground off the pointed tip of the tap to allow me to get the threads all the way to the bottom of the hole. Worked perfectly and those threads will never pull out.

I barely exerted any pressure and the thread tool snapped instantly
