I bought this almost a year ago and it's still just like the day I bought it. The complete blackout is great and you can't tell at all I have an ex pass. I put it up high on the tinted part of the windshield. It's behind my mirror so I can't even see it. When I do look at it, it's visually appealing. Makes a great small gift for someone.

Since your search took you to this review, you no doubt are afflicted with whatever mental sickness causes some of us to spend time thinking about hiding our iPass/EZ Pass, rather than just sticking the darn thing on our cars and being done with it. Why, my wife wondered, don't I simply direct my energy to something more important? From a mental health perspective, she certainly has a point. But a sickness is a sickness, and I couldn't bear the thought of marring my shiny new car with that off-white, sticker-adorned contraption seemingly designed to fit an alien aesthetic.Enter this kit. Slip your iPass/EZ Pass into this, and it becomes instantly stealthy. It's a soft silicone that doesn't catch reflections at all -- a good thing, since you're trying to hide this hideous object in plain sight. The fit is perfect -- it's very easy to slide on, but it perfectly contoured to the weird shape of the device. Once this cover is on, the thing looks -- dare I say it -- decent?And yes, you'll want to do the Sharpie trick described in other reviews. You'll immediately see why it's necessary, what to do, and why the company added that space in the first place. Once the kit is in affixed to your car, your iPass/EZ Pass changes character immediately. You are unlikely to notice it at all (especially from the front of the car, where it is near-invisible), and it won't bother you a bit if you do. And it sticks as well as the original iPass/EZ Pass tape -- just make sure to use the (included) single-use cleaning packet.That's it. This won't cure your affliction, but it will make you feel better. And you never have to admit to others just how bad things seemed before this product found its way into your life.

These work great and keep the ez-passes we have mounted in our cars from being visually distracting. The fit is good, the adhesive works well. Our oldest one has been up for 4 years and is still just fine.

I used the strips that came with my EZ Pass to avoid the problem that others reported -- the black strips that came with the silicone skin becoming unglued. Also, I used a black Sharpie on the areas around the strips and edges of the EZ Pass where the white parts of the transponder would be visible after the silicone skin was put on the transponder. This helped my transponder completely black with no white bits peeking out.

I've been using this EZ Skin Bundle for a couple of months now. It is still the best option I have found to conceal my ugly, white, I-PASS/EZ-PASS transponder. I have a black interior, so I was looking for a black option. The black silicone retains its shape well and is a nice snug fit over the transponder. The silicone appears to be the perfect thickness. It's not too thin as to be delicate, and it's not thick enough to add any noticeable bulk to the transponder.Prior to purchasing this EZ Skin Bundle, I used to mount the transponder to the windshield. This time I mounted it to back of my rear view mirror to make it less noticeable. From outside the car you can't even see it is there, and it can only bee seen inside from the passenger seat. The silicone skin blends in extremely well with the interior, so it doesn't really stand out.My only issue is with the included black interlocking adhesion strips. The transponder fell off after only six weeks. The adhesive material completely failed. I have never had this happen the with free clear 3M Dual Lock adhesive strips that come free with the I-PASS/EZ-PASS. This makes me wonder if these really are 3M strips or if they are a lower grade of 3M product. When I put the included black strips on that came with this kit, they did seem to be not as high quality as the clear ones I get for free with my transponder. I have since replaced them with black 3M Dual Lock strips that I purchased from my local hardware store. Unfortunately, the only black 3M Dual Lock strips I could find are only black for the plastic and white for the adhesive strip. The strips I purchased seem to adhere significantly better, but only time will tell. So far I have only had it mounted with the new strips I purchased for about three weeks.If I had to do it over again, I would purchase just the EZ Skin, not the bundle. I would buy larger size pieces of black 3M Dual Lock, cut a big piece(s) to fill the back area of the exposed transponder, and then mount it to back of my rear view mirror again. This way I would have a large adhesion area, and it would give me a bit more flexibility to adjust the transponder position as needed.If the included black adhesion strips did not fail, I would have given this EZ Skin Bundle five stars. I took one star off for the failed adhesion strips. With that being said, EZ Skin still has the best option I have seen for a black color solution.

Not much to say about this. It's exactly as advertised. I don't like the way the EZ pass stands out with its bright white. Most of my cars interior is black so I got this. Easy to install and the black tape is a needed touch to have that uniform look in ur car that isn't in your face like the stock white ez pass device.

I’ve had it for years and it’s perfect. I had to order another for more sticky bits when my windshield had to be replaced, but until then it hadn’t fallen off. Easy to put on, sticks well, and looks much better than a bare ez pass!
