I had high hopes for this “socketâ€. Used a Dewalt 20v drill with full battery. I did a pre-squeeze of both tails of the tie to try and get both within the internal slot. I was really hoping it would twist both ends a bit tighter but the best it would do is 1.5 revolutions of the tails. This didn’t really get as tight as needed or I wanted. One tail will stay inserted and the other tail is the one that wraps around the stationary tail. To be clear, the stationary tail wasn’t 100% stationary as it did twist “a littleâ€. This process isn’t as easy as the aluminum ties in a bag. I should have been able to zip through these pretty quickly. Manual would have been easier and faster. There are MANY of this type of option out there. Perhaps I just chose the wrong one. I also bought 2 bags of these ties and have been put on the fence already, just waiting to be “tightenedâ€.
