Not difficult to use unlike some hoops but not for me. I like to hold and hand sew my needlepoint

i don't cross stitch but I do needlepoint and so does my husband. This frame works great for the small projects! Great value for the money and something that works-which in the world of stitching somethings work and other are junk! This is a good one

I have many of these frames and this was the first time one of the holes for the scroll was too tight (small), I was able to fix this using a drill bit to make the hole slightly larger so the scroll bar would fit and I could make the fabric tight enough to work with it.

Like the small rods so that you can do small projects without having a lot of aida cloth wrapped around the rod

Very good quality item which is the perfect size and I plan on be able to use this often. I would definitely order more of them in different sizes as my projects require.
