The tank seems like a good product, but I need the gate weight and water capacity to use it properly. They should be on the rim. They are not!

Just wanted to leave a warning for anyone looking to actually use this tank to reclaim refrigerant. The tank has no stamps on it whatsoever. No DOT, no test Date, no tare or water weight, nothing. Absolutely not an actual, legal reclamation tank.If Im being honest, its probably not great to even use for my purpose whoch is, mostly just to pull the charge on small sealed systems while I fix the unit before putting the refrigeration back in. Given the lack of any sort of hydrostatic testing on it, Non DOT approval, and just an inked on date of manufacturing, I wouldn't recommend this tank to just about anyone for any purpose unless you know how to hydro test the tank yourself.

This cylinder says that it can be used with several refrigerants though it can’t legally be used with any. It does not have a dot stamp and does not have a hydrostatic test date, both are required for compliance. Do not buy this cylinder it is illegal to use it for refrigerant.

Used this tank on one recovery and when bleeding air from lines 134A got on the paint and now every time I touch the tank, paint comes off on my hands and any surface it touches.

These tanks are not DOT approved and will not be accepted by recyclers. Valves are above and outside protective collar. I am past the return period and Amazon shouldn't be selling these at all. I will continue to attempt to contact Amazon to bring this to their attention.
