Hard to go wrong. Enphase specified this at the end of my CAT 6 ethernet cable in my solar combiner box. Tight fit but made it work.

The Wi-Fi signal outside is fairly weak, so I ran an Ethernet line out to the Combiner box where the IQ Gateway lives. Enphase recommends using this ferrite core to reduce noise. Honestly have no idea how much this actually does, but it's inexpensive and I have no issues with connecting to the Envoy.
