This is my 3rd cat door from this brand. I have 3 different styles (2 for bedroom doors and 1 for basement door). They are easy to install, works great with no issues. It is durable plastic. I have a large cat, small cat and a chiweenie dog and all 3 fit through easily. I recommend.

We recently fell victim to the cat distrobution system. By a kitten, no less. I also have 3 large breed dogs and a small breed dog. I am not sure how this happened, but apparently, we have a kitten. There seems to be nothing dogs love more than the treats from the litter box. We can't have that. Also, we don't trust the dogs alone with the cat while we are at work, so the kitten stays in her room during the day and with all of us when we are home. I wanted to give the cat a way to access her room without letting the dogs have access as well. It was a pretty simple installation, once I found where my husband hid the power tools, and then charged them up. It is plastic and seems to function as expected. I have no complaints.

Product is made of cheap plastic. Gold hinge and doorknob depicted in the photos are a blatant lie. They are actually made of cheap brown plastic. The finish is shiny and not matte and pictured. Extremely disappointing.
