I used it to cover a hole (from removal of an intercom unit.) Got lucky and didn't even have to paint it. (Could easily mount hooks for keys, etc on it, too.). Used second on atop a bookcase to cover an opening. Easy solutionIt would be great for craft projects (as designed); good finish, well constructed

When the package arrives, take a damp cloth and wipe them down. Then I apply my gesso (primer) and begin drawing. They are smooth and if you apply your gesso properly they will not be a bumpy mess like regular canvas and you will get gallery quality paintings. Some wood panels have wood strips that then warp. Be careful when buying some of the cheaper panels that they aren't as nice as these. Wood canvas panels for your fine art...five stars.
