It does write and works. But I recommend you to wait for your frosting to get cold before using it. I used it to write words on a cake. The only things I did not like is that the isn't as visible as I would like. Meaning you can read what you write but looks faded in my opinion.

Markers worked fine. Dried quickly and didn't smudge. Needed them to make Mario Mushrooms and my 14 and 8yo Helpers did great using them.They do contain red food dye.

I used these markers to draw lines on my bocce ball cake pops :) they were great. I was nervous they wouldn’t be opaque enough to show on the green and red candy coating, but they definitely were. Two passes is more opaque, but one was good enough for me!

The quality of this ink is great I am able to do fine details on my treats with no taste and the cost is such a value I will be buying these again just off of the quality.
