We love the beautiful blue color. There is no smell to the product and is easily used and scooped out of packaging.Personal note:My grandson is high functioning autistic and with lots of research and speaking to specialists we were informed to take dyes out of his food. He loves the color blue and red (bought beet powder too) and both colors are in most foods. We chose to use natural food dyes and this Blue Butterfly Pea powder (quality is wonderful) has a beautiful light to dark blue color ( depends on your color preference) to make a whipped cream cupcake (or cake) topping.

I bought thisfor coloring breads and cakes..... It creates a denim blue dry and a beautiful bright blue when hydrated. There's is no added flavor just color.

It’s a great quality product with the bonus of convenience. I’ve had butterfly pea tea using the flowers and using the powder makes it 10x more convenient. It’s also a lot less expensive than just getting the flowers to make tea. It’s also got a great aroma, and I think it pairs well with a lemonade or even as a minty latte to change things up!

Wait for it. Literally. The first time I used the product I was so disappointed at first. The powder was dark gray and my frosting started out pale gray. While mixing, it slowly became light lavender. I frosted the cookies and came back later to find them a medium/deep periwinkle blue. Minimal to no flavor especially if using other flavorings like vanilla. It’s pricey but a nice option for special occasions when you don’t want chemical colorings.

I made some red white and blue sourdough bread for Memorial Day and the colors I achieved with the colored powders were nothing short of amazing! The powder doesn’t have a taste to it but it has a bold color quality without the additives like red #40 has. I feel confident and happy knowing my bread offers a healthy a fun pop of color without any unnecessary additives!

I needed the flowers to infuse the vodka not the powder. The upside is you can use the powder to bake with. Didn’t help my party plans much tho

More like a beet purple out of the bag and, like so many others, when mixed with white icing or flour it turns gray. Definitely not the vibrant blue. I tried different ratios and could never get anything remotely like the blue color they have in the pictures. I also agree the bag is tiny for the money so I thought it would be more effective. Try something else. Some have complained about smell but mine had no noticeable smell.

Accidentally ordered this product as I mistook it for another product but am not unhappy with it.Has many health benefits and a beautiful colour when added to water. Cool party trick when lemon is added and turns a beautiful purple colour!A bit of a steep price but a little really does go a long way if its added to liquid but I found adding it to my smoothie didn’t have as much of a nice effect.No real taste to it in my opinion just needs to be dissolved properly!

Very nice product. A lot finer powder than I was used to. Be sure to whisk well or use a blender as it will clump.

Makes for a fantastic natural food dye; I used it to create a lovely cornflower blue pie dough and a rich blue coloured whipped cream.
