I have been making violins for a while now, my own single maker instrument in the photos. I have had questions about finger tabs and guides, so I tested them out. This one is the winner in my personal and professional opinion.Ease of installation is very easy, there is a QR code for an installation video. I recommend following it for best success. It is important to know that the decal is single use only. After 30 minutes it cannot be removed without the decal stretched out of shape. Also don’t press the wings down until sure it is positioned correctly.I use a D’Addario tuner (can see it left of neck) to confirm violin is in tune and to check the position on the label. I am amazed by how accurate the decal is. Instructions do mention trimming the top of the label by small amount if not on tune, but I have not had to do that to get spot on results.If you have to remove it, my experience is residue free. However, if there is a little, you can use the decal to press on the residue and lift to remove it.I am quite happy with the results and will recommend it for those that ask me about a finger guide.

Wow! This is such a great product! This is exactly what we needed for our daughter who just started playing violin this year. It was very easy to install and is fairly intuitive! Love it!!

I really like this note finder for my violin. It was easy to install and I feel lines up accurately with the strings and notes. It was a little nerve wracking to put on because once it's stuck, it's stuck. The overall look of the product is smaller than the pictures, but then again you are putting it on a violin. I would recommend this product for beginners to help learn positioning of notes.

I love these finger position stickers! First, I inspected the adhesive and immediately realized it would leave residue. To prevent this, I opened a word document, set the background to black, and printed the page to create a barrier for the sticker. I then cut it to precisely match the violin’s neck and wrapped it around using invisible tape. It worked wonderfully—though the neck now looks a bit odd, I don’t mind it as long as I’m doing my absolute best to protect my fingerboard from residue damage. I’m using a very fine and unique instrument from 1925, and this was a concerns I had before I even bought this product. You can’t expect the vendor to use common sense for you. Great product!

I was very happy with this product. I also ordered and received the fingerboard tape for my cello. What's awesome about this product is that the tape includes positions for both sharps and flats and half steps. It also identifies placement for First, Second and Third Position. I had to be careful putting on the tape and if you scan the QR code - the seller has made a short instructional video which shows you exactly how to do this. I was super impressed with both the product and the fact that the seller explained how to install the tape and gave warnings about not letting the tape set on the instrument longer than 15 mins before final placement. Great little product and cheaper than it's immediate competition. Have used ones from other sellers on Amazon which weren't as good as this one. Very impressed - and I've been practising my violin more now as well.
