The pieces all work well and the fit and finish is good. The pegs are burnished already and are massively oversized (as expected) so be prepared to shape them down to size. They could have dispensed with the polishing/burnishing of the peg shafts as it makes the outer layer very hard on your peg shaver until you get through to the somewhat softer wood underneath. Of course, you will need to cork the chin rest and shape the bridge (I haven't tried working with the supplied bridge yet since my exisiting bridge is fine). For the price, I consider this excellent value. Just be prepared to do some work to get them sized/fitted properly to your instrument

Everything works great and looks awesome! The only thing I haven't used yet is the bridge, as I have to cut it to size. The rest works well and fits great (I did of course have to size and cut the sound post, and then install it).

It's a good kit for replacing missing parts. You do have to fit it to your instrument. String instruments aren't one size fits all in parts.

The quality is very nice, finely finished ebony and maybe rosewood. I ordered for a 3/4 violin, and I know you have to fit them but the pegs were way too big, chin rest took up too much space and looked silly. I returned the set and found some smaller pegs locally.

Chinrest: Acceptable. The fitment of the brace is bad, and puts pressure on the wrong part of the edge of the frame. You will need to cork the brace and the chinrest to avoid instrument damage.End-peg: too narrow for my instrument; discarded.Tailpiece: Acceptable.Tuning pegs: holes are in the wrong place, expect to drill new ones. Oversized, expect to cut them down to size.Fine tuners: absolute garbage, one was not even slotted for a string and I had to dremel a slot in it with a fine cutting wheel. The knobs hurt the fingers, the fine tuners work inconsistently, and they are a garish gold color. Destined for the trash.Bridge: softwood, not maple. Totally unusable for its purpose. You can see the wood bend if you flex it. Does not match the product image.Soundpost: not included in my set.Verdict: for $17 I got a usable chinrest and some tuning pegs. The rest will need to be replaced.
