Awesome product. Very bright, crisp lines. You can't go wrong with this one. I would rate it as good or better than Milwaukee and it about half the price of Milwaukee.

This tool is excellent. Any novice DIY person will feel like a pro after using this laser leveler. I had to tape lines for a painting project and this leveler really made the job a whole lot easier than having to eyeball it. I'm not the most handy person and the leveler may not see much use but it's a great tool to have for multiple applications. Highly recommend

I’ve used the laser leveler a handful of times works great. Only had trouble with outdoor use light gets washed out and hard to see. But indoors or mainly shaded areas works great.

Full disclosure, I was given this item as part of Amazon's Vine program in exchange for an honest review, positive or negative. When I first turned this on, I suspect I had the same reaction as everyone who has never seen how much better a green laser is than a red laser. WOW! If they were flashlights, a red laser is a flashlight you get at the Dollar store for $1 and the green laser is a car headlight on high beams. They don't even compete with each other. Indoors, the green laser can easily be seen 100 feet away, whereas a red laser cannot.As far as the function of this laser, they work great too! You can turn on either the horizontal, the vertical, or both the horizontal and vertical lines at the same time. Each beam shines about 180 degrees around the room. The autoleveling is wonderful. All you have to worry about is getting the unit to the correct height. This is the only negative about the unit. It can be tricky to do, even on a camera tripod. If you are buying a camera tripod just to use for this, get one with a had crank that makes the center column go up and down. It will make adjusting the height MUCH easier and less frustrating. The kind of tripod surveyors use will not be very useful for this type of laser.I will give you one piece of buying advice. If you put this level line and leaving where it is while you work, it is great, like say for kitchen cabinets or tiles. If you decide to move the line to another part of the room by adjusting the tripod, or pointing the laser in a different direction, then you will want a 360 rotating laser. This one will be too frustrating to use in those circumstances on a tripod. You will spend more time readjusting the height than you will installing the cabinet or whatever you were doing. It would be better to go ahead and get a laser that shines all the way around the room.Quick tip, if you don't have a tripod, and you are working in the kitchen, put it on the magnetic bracket included and stick it to the refrigerator. It works great and is easy to adjust up and down.Did I mention this laser is built like a tank?

The first level I received did not turn on and I had a hard time determining if I was doing something wrong or if it was just defective. Turns out it was just defective, the new one works well! Nice clear line and bright for indoor projects. great value for the money.
