I have a couple of these and I absolutely love them. I like the extra space if I decide to double a batch of my mead. Good sturdy quality glass but it is quite heavy. Seals just fine with my airlocks that fit my one gallon carboy. Cleaning can be a bit of a pain but if you use a no rinse sanitizer you'll do just fine.

I bought this so I could start brewing larger batches of mead, and this thing is solid. Would definitely recommend, and I'll probably be back to buy a few more in the next couple of months when the local fruit starts coming in :)

My original order had two large fractures, so I sent that back for a replacement. I thought the second had arrived fractured as well, but I was educated by a wise gentleman who runs the local brew shop, that the line I seen on the second is actually an unavoidable defect of the mold and happens durring manufacturing. I've updated my review appropriately.
