  • AUTOMATIC TRANSPARENT AIRLOCK: FastRack airlocks are stronger, more transparent, and made of food-grade materials. You will easily see the entire fermentation process! Due to the airtight design of our fermentation airlock we isolate the air and prevent oxidation. Fastrack brewing airlock exhausts automatically at room temperature without manual intervention.
  • EASY & SIMPLE TO USE: Insert the assembled airlock into the hole of the rubber stopper that fits your current jug or carboy. Fill the Bubbler Airlock with water and insert the drilled stopper or bung to vent gasses during fermentation. The airlock cap should always stay on top when in use to allow gas to escape and prevent the water inside from quickly spilling out if tipped over.
  • HOW IT WORKS: Airlocks enable CO2 to be released during fermentation and trap oxygen from entering the fermenter. The bubbler style airlock is the preferred airlock for secondary fermentation, as it is possible to monitor the pressure inside the fermenter, and is the go to winemaking airlock.
  • DRILLED RUBBER STOPPER: FastRack bungs come with a pre-drilled hole in the center sized to fit all standard-sized airlocks. The rubber bung is tapered for a better seal holding the airlock securely in place. There is a curved lip on the bung to stop it from accidentally sliding into the fermenter. Our rubber bungs have many uses in fermentation; including beer brewing, cider and winemaking.
  • SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: At FastRack we pride ourselves on creating products that can be trusted by our customers. Buyer satisfaction is our top priority, maybe, sometimes accidents happen during shipping. If anything is cracked or broken, please let us know and we’ll do our best to make sure you are 100% satisfied with our product and service.

I purchased one set of these, and they work so well, I purchased another set very soon after. Thanks to a review by another customer, I modified plastic mason jar lids to fit these (made holes with a Dremel and smoothed and refined them by hand with sand paper), and they are working great! Yes, they are inexpensive, but they don't feel cheap, and I expect I will be using them for a long time to come. It's cold where I live, so fermenting sauerkraut, pickles and sriracha can take quite a long time; with these installed on my lids, I haven't had to worry at all about mold forming or manually letting the gasses escape. A small price to pay for peace of mind!

I use these airlocks for winemaking and they work well. The airlocks are sturdy enough and the bungs fit my 5 gal and 6 gal glass carboys.Tip: Instead of water I pour vodka (cheap bottom shelf stuff) in these to keep things from growing in them and if some does spill into the batch the vodka should have little if any effect on taste.

I always go for the old 3 piece standard, it is a solid build and will last years in the right hands. The design is as efficient as a ventilation system can get and its screw up proof. One small piece of advice I will give a newer brewer, if you are planning a brew that will take some time like mead for example which can take up to 12 months before its finished. Use tequila or vodka in place of water in your air lock, it keeps mold and bacteria out that can cause issues. This is a great set at the right price.

This is not what was advertised. I got three small barrel bungs. No airlocks. The bungs do not fit a standard carboy. Now I will have to go to a shop and actually purchase a set. This was a waste of my time and money.

The plastic is cheap and will not stay in a bottle. It kind of does what its meant for but be careful cause it will come out when a fly hits the bung.

Before purchasing these bung and airlock sets i was a bit worried if they would fit my carboy openings. But when I tried them, they fit in both my 1 gal and 3 gal glass carboys.Very easy to disassemble, clean and sanitize. The airlocks will fit all the way inside the rubber bung, if you leave them like they look in the picture they seem to be a little loose, so i always press them all the way in to be on the safe side. There is a fill line on the plastic airlock so you can see how much sanitizer or vodka to add.The hole in the rubber bung is small but BARELY big enough to fit a 5/16" tube for a blowoff hose. (This took me about 10 mins and a lot of elbow grease)
