  • SAFE FOR FERMENTATION: FastRack 6.5 gallon beer fermenter made from food grade HDPE with a 6.5 Gallon Capacity 100% BPA free, safe for beer fermentation. Comes complete with drilled lid grommet for an airlock. Very popular with brewers to be used as a bottling bucket as well. FastTrack fermenting buckets are very easy to clean and sanitize.
  • HEAVY DUTY PLASTIC: This heavy-duty plastic fermenting bucket is our standard fermenting bucket that comes in most of our kits. This is a low cost, quality food grade beer fermenter for your beer, wine, mead, cider, or any other fermented beverage. Especially for beers with high krausen because these fermentation buckets offer lots of room for krausen during primary fermentation.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT & EASY TO HANDLE: Lightweight and easy to carry, the FastRack Plastic fermenting bucket is much easier to get rid of sediment from the bottom. With our simple cover, just open the lid to pull your hydrometer samples or add dry hops and flavorings into the primary fermenting bucket. No need to struggle with the narrow neck of a glass carboy.
  • SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: At FastRack we pride ourselves on creating products that can be trusted by our customers. Buyer satisfaction is our top priority, maybe, sometimes accidents happen during shipping. If anything is cracked or broken, please let us know and we’ll do our best to make sure you are 100% satisfied with our product and service.

Great bucket but I thought it did'nt come with the black gromit in the lid for the air lock so I was going to return it.Pleases inforrm customers that the gromit is taped to the underside of the lid.Other than that great product I can't wait to start brewing.

Lids are VERY VERY VERY difficult to remove after they're on. But, no leaking or worrying about spills while moving when full. So you win some/lose some.I brew 5lbs of coffee in 5gallons of water in these and they are absolutely the perfect size!Very sturdy and worth the extra few dollar compared to the 5gallon buckets for portioning out my 5gal water/5lb coffee that won't fit in a standard bucket.Lid comes with a rubber lined hole.

The bucket, is a bucket. It is thick walled and has a very tight seal on the lid. I have no concerns about anything getting in my batch. The rubber gasket for the airlock is very tight as well, but the airlock does just barely squeeze in. It is also very helpful to have a specific gravity chart directly on the bucket, I used a dry erase marker to mark the original instead of writing it down and loosing the paper. My only complaint is the lid. It is one of the tear off lids, and therefor one time use. I like to check my brew periodically for a specific gravity test and a taste test, but that is off limits with this bucket (unless you plan to rack into smaller batches after the first couple weeks). I would be willing to pay more for a screw on lid that I can continue to use in the future.

Air tight locking lid we will see how it holds up in the long run but so far turned wort into beer no problem!

I bought this bucket for making Meade the top fits snug and the hole accepts bubbler just fine. The bucket is rugged and handle is strong I don't have any issues with it leaking. It arrived fast and is easy to clean the price was a little steep but so are fermenter buckets from brew stores. Even if it does leak some during fermentation I don't notice it.

I'll be adding a spigot to this vessel, because I like the ease of non-siphon racking. The lid takes a bit of pressure to close, but closes with authority and seals well. I had the bubbler attached when I sealed the lid, and I could see air pushing through the bubbler before I even had the lid sealed on all sides. Will be buying more of these later if they're still for sale.

I've used a TON of brew buckets before. This thing is the worst bucket I've ever used. First of all, It's much taller and skinnier than other buckets which have a much wider mouth. When you're trying to pour say 6 gallons of wine must from one container into this, it's nice to have the added width to avoid spilling chances. The real issue is the absolute crappy lid. For anyone that has bought wine must before like for a white wine, they come in sealed buckets where you have to rip a tab on the lid and then rip that all the way around to unseal the lid. That's what this thing came with. WHY? I didn't even notice that and put the lid on a white wine I wanted to ferment. A day in I wanted to stir off some of the CO2 and add some nutrient. I had to tear that tab and rip the ring of plastic off the lid to get it off, and even after doing that it was the hardest, loudest, most pain in the ass lid to get off. ANY and EVERY other brew bucket I've ever used, the lid is easy to snap on, produces a tight seal, and comes off with minimal effort. How this thing made it to production with this design is a mystery. Will never buy this crap again and quite frankly might leave them on the sidewalk for someone to take.Any positives? Sure. The bucket is lightweight, strong and the bucket part is easy to clean. The lid? Not easy to clean well. What's mind boggling is I've used this companies 7.9 gallon fermenter which doesn't have the RIDICULOUS lid, and it's worked just fine. Bad, bad design on this one.

It is pricey but not many other options on the Internet. Did found almost the same one in my local wine brewing shop and it was way cheaper, but if it's not an option for you than this does the job. Good quality, only complain is the price.
