Would recommend this but for the Sony Walkmsn NW-A300 series, there is no cutout to extract the SD card without removing this case. That's an issue for me as I need to remove the card to sync my library to it. If that's not an issue for you, consider this a 5 star case option.

I have always liked the FatBear Rugged case, especially when I had the NW-A55 and the NW-A105 Sony Walkman. Those cases were very good, and the Walkman DAPs felt well protected. The only thing I didn't like was that the power button cover was very hard to activate in both cases. You had to press the power button pretty hard to turn the devices on.I got the NW-A306 Walkman DAP fairly recently, and I ordered the official SONY Silicone case. It was nice, but it didn't feel as protective as something like the FatBear case. I was a bit hesitant to get the FatBear Rugged Case since I wasn't thrilled to have to press hard on the power button. I decided to bite the bullet, and boy, was I glad to buy it!These people improved their design, and all the buttons activate with a soft press—even the power button! Now, my Walkman feels very well protected and is easy to operate. Bravo, well done, FatBear!If you get the Walkman NW-A306, then get this case. You will love it!

This case is a perfect fit for the Sony NW-A306. It was easy to insert the player into the case. The buttons on the case operate the player buttons. The only improvement to the case would be a protective piece over the USB port.

The NWA303 already had a tacit and solid feel wihtout a case. This case makes the Sony Walkman DAP even more comfortable to hold and carry. This case is a must have if you are considering buying the Sony NWA303 series DAP Walkman. With now having this case, a screen protector, a lanyard wrist loop and a 1 TB storage card in this player with all of my music on the SD card I can confidently say I've official evolved from my recycled 6th gen iPod. Before actually purchasing the NWA303, I shopped for cases and this case stood out as being everything i needed. The cutouts for the players functionality are generous and precise. I highly recommend this case.

This would be a very nice case except the power on button, and the top volume buttons are to difficult to feel between, do to the unnecessary hump of rubber between them. I had to take an Exato knife and cut down that hump. Works better now. Now there is a contrast in feeling between the two buttons. (Just another stupid computer generated design with no real ergonomics involved. I am sure the designer is so proud of himself for how cool it looks though).

It's been over a year since I got this case, honestly I was not expecting it to even last this long. Its doing a pretty good job. Though I wish there were flaps which covered up the charging port and headphone jack. But that might be too annoying to some who keep on plugging in their headphones and Type C cable frequently.Overall, I'm happy with it.
