Love this filter! I have two in two ten gallon tanks. They work really well and I can’t even hear that they’re on! Highly recommend

I have used a few of these filters over time and I really like them. They are effective, have good flow, and are easy to clean. My most recent order showed me how good the company's service is. One of the filters had been packed with two of the same elbow fixtures, instead of the two unique elbows needed to attach the spray bar. (First time that has happened with multiple purchases of this product.) If I hadn't used these in the past, I would have been confused and frustrated. Instead, I sent them an email with a photo asking them to send a replacement elbow. They responded quickly and said they sent it. Two days later, I got the package, and it had a WHOLE NEW FILTER set, not just the elbow I needed! Great service! And yes, the new one had the correct elbows.

I purchased this filter to help clean the water I have in small fish tanks and it does the job well. For my usage, I cut the filter into 1/2" segments so that I could also add a carbon filter into the canister, and no issues there. The tank is nice and clean and the fish are super healthy. The only challenge I had was the bottom portion kept coming off, but a simple rubber band held it together. For the price, great little filter.

The filter only creates noise and I’ve been messing with it for awhile already and I’ve been watching videos and it does nothing. I’ve tried both attachments and nothing. The filter itself doesn’t suck up anything. I could be doing something wrong because it is making noise but it’s not doing anything??

had this for my quarantine tank. It stop working altogether when it decided to pop open. when it does work its great, very quiet, and powerful. when it decides to not work, primarily the air bubbler, you will have to take it out, dry it, and literally blow into the tube to the air flowing again. its cheap, so you get what you paid for. i would not recommend this if you are trying to actually make a display tank. it does the job for a quarantine tank.

Super cheap but doing exactly what I need it to do: moves that water throughout my tanks. I built 7 full eco/aquasystems like you can find YouTubers doing (my fav is MD Fish Tanks!) and I'm having great success! I have several of the smaller filters, and one slightly bigger. The bigger one REALLY moves water a lot and have it turned completely down (i.e. the little adjustment thing that closes/enlarges the flow opening.) In fact, all of them are turned completely down. They really put out some power. I think I paid like $12 or so for the smaller ones and $16 for the bigger one... and for that price if they last a year I'll be happy and even buy them again. This was in 2023.Cleaning... well... once my tank was established (a month?), I haven't had to clean them. I probably should once a month or two! Maybe it's a little pain, but to be fair, any such style filter would be. The way the filter housing "clamps" onto the unit does seem a little cheap and really all they would need to do to fix that is make them snap in better/harder/tighter. But they have not fallen off (yet), so no worries. Maybe I could slightly melt or reshape them if it becomes a problem. If you are building a fully planted eco/aquascape like those YouTubers, then this one does the trick. No filter (except what's inside these ones, so stuff doesn't clog the propeller.) No water changes. I just top them off.Oh yeah - the suctions cups that hold these to the wall are so strong that they actually pop OFF the filter when you try to remove the filter pump for cleaning. You have to put them back on every time! Maybe that's the other CON, along with needing a tighter fitting filtration housing. I still gave it 5 stars - these things don't bother me.

Perfect for my betta fish. He loves it and it doesn't knock or push him around like some filters have done with him. He loves it and chills right below it or he chills in his cave next to it.

Ive used it on a 5 and 3 gallon tank, and its definitely too strong of a flow for fish that prefer water with less flow, like bettas. Had to cover up the spray bar with a piece of cloth cause it rlly is too strong for my poor betta boy ðŸ˜Not sure how itd do in a tank 10+ gallons tho, but def not for 5 gals or anything below (that like slow moving water that is)2 stars cause it works, but lost 3 cause i cant use it long term in my 3 or 5 gal, and its just tossing around my betta. Its also loud, i can hear it buzzing from my bed, but that might just be my fault.

I ordered two sizes for two tanks both work wonderful. Easy to build & install , the rain spout option is less of a current but the air bubble feature fills the tanks with oxygen bubbles which helps prevent algae. The fish really love the bubbles. They were more active & swimming around within 5 minutes than they EVER were prior. Our one tank is 100 gallons & the other is 5, each size works perfectly, for the smaller tank I have the filter facing front to back so the current isn’t pushing the whole tank. I turn them off while feeding temporarily but you don’t have to. The little fish & big fish love them both equally. Cant beat the prices either. So far I haven’t had them long enough to see how much the filter is sucking up but the oxygen production alone is worth it.

I’ve converted a top fin 8 gallon dazzle tank into a nano reef tank. This is perfect to increase filtration and flow for nano tanks with corals. Necessary as with this tank you can’t increase the return pump output. It’s small enough to be hidden behind rock work once I get it all setup properly.

Works really well for price! I had to leave it on overnight before it started to pump water properly but then it was really powerful! I was concerned at first that it wasnt working but now its prefect

It is a powerful and versatile pump, and I wish my beta didn't hate it, but it is just too powerful for his little 3-gallon aquarium.
