This came in handy when my SO was working on the car. These socket adapters fit well on the tools he has available, and are a nice add to his collection. They are small enough to be able to get into tight spaces. Beware, they don't come with any type of directions, so make sure you know what you're getting into when you purchase them (they are adapter sets, not a socket set..)

This is a pretty decent set of tap sockets. It doesn't say what steel that it's made from, just that it's an alloy steel which can really mean anything, with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. It comes on a little rail that is easy to knock over since it's top heavy, and they fit on it OK. Not a high quality rail, but it does the job. These don't have a rubber ring on them like some do, it's just a metal hole right down the sides. Naturally, the taps and ratchets fit fine. For occasional use for a DIY'er like myself, these are good and I'm happy with them. I wanted them to add some flexibility with how I tap, even though these aren't likely to be the primary way I choose to, and since they're inexpensive, thought it would be a good fit for my purpose.

The bracket broke within a week of use. It couldn’t handle the weight it was supposed to support. Very disappointed with the durability.
