Support Wide Angle Lens
Larger vision without vignetting
TP2A supports shooting with wide angle lens more than 40mm, providing larger vision without vignetting. For tablet prompting, focal length need to be more than 50mm.
Lens Adapter Ring
The TP2A with standard 49/52/55/58/62/67/72/77mm eight lens adapter rings. You can choose one which suit for your camera lens. Remark: When installing the adapter ring, you need to remove the UV mirror from the lens, otherwise the adapter ring may be locked together with the UV mirror and cannot be removed.

I bought this Teleprompter to use with my smart phone and a WebCam. It worked well for that for two or three months.Then I decided to get a DSLR camera. This thing is terrible. It will not attached to the lens properly. It falls off every time I think I’ve got it attached. If you were thinking you might buy a DSLR in the future, this teleprompter is a terrible choice.EDIT: turns out this user is an idiot who doesn’t know how to use lens adapters! I figured out how to screw the right size adapter onto the lens and everything works perfectly. Very glad I only had to pay $80 for a great all around teleprompter!

I’ll add the same comment about the quality of the plastic. If you drop this thing, it’ll burst into little pieces. The angle of the mirror is odd and hard to adjust. Not a good product.

This teleprompter kit provides flexibility for setup by providing several DSLR lens adapters, cell phone holder for recording, a cell phone/tablet holder for the text app, and a remote control for the app. To successfully use this setup you will need to provide a tripod, something to record with (either a DSLR or a cellphone), and a cell phone or tablet for the text to read.You will want to get a tripod fit for your setup and which camera option you choose. If you plan on setting up top of a desk or table, you will want a shorter tripod that is strong enough to hold a DSLR. If you are setting up on the floor, you will want a taller tripod, again strong enough to hold a DSLR if you choose that option.What I like about this setup, if you plan on using a DSLR, you'll select the appropriate lens ring adapter and hang the teleprompter off of the lens with the DSLR connected to a tripod. If you would rather use your cell phone to record, there is a magnetic cell phone holder that connects to the back of the teleprompter, and the tripod will connect directly to the teleprompter itself.The app for the text was easy to find and install on an iOS device, although I was unsuccessful at finding and installing on an android. On my tablet, I was able to run the text app with the remote control, which allowed me to control the speed of text and pause when necessary. I could even scroll through the various background colors available.The clamp that holds the device with the text app works well for cell phones and smaller tablets. My tablet is in a safety case because of my kids, so it did not fit into the clamp because the case was too bulky. Since I did not want to remove the safety case, I was able to put the tablet on a table below the teleprompter and it worked very well.I saw no noticeable difference recording myself with vs without the teleprompter in front of the lens. There was no visible color difference or distortion. I was able to read the text and look at the camera easily with the design of this setup. All in all, this setup made recording videos while reading a script a breeze.

This is an effective teleprompter to pair with a smartphone, but it is not without its flaws.The remote is complete garbage. Anytime the remote is connected, the software won't allow you to change the font size.Additionally, despite the description saying that this teleprompter can fit an 8 inch tablet, it cannot.Despite these significant problems, the device is a functional teleprompter and I will be keeping it. However, for this price, I would expect more to function than just the pieces of plastic.

Does the job perfectly. Bluetooth connectivity is a bit poor. Might take sometime to get a hold of it initially.

The app is not working and it is not for teleprompter sent, the material plastics are very cheap, it does not fit the tablets in a good way, I do not advice of buying this item.
