What you expect from felpro. This is a solid part sealed my exhaust leak. Easy to install and twice as thick of the standard gasket you would get from the auto parts stores.

Thicker and more flexible than other gaskets. Worked perfect on exhaust flange with imperfect (warped) seating surface.

Liked the substantial thickness of the Fel-Pro gasket. Since this exhaust connection is wide (covering two pipes) and held together by only three bolts, there is an inevitable miniscule mis-alignment between the front and rear exhaust sections. That lack of perfect surface-to-surface interface is normal, but thinner gaskets may not fully fill it and blow-out a few thousand miles down the road. The Fel-Pro provides enough meat so you can cinch the coupling down and be assured of a solid seal . The 'Slide-In" bolt hole cut out feature doesn't work for everybody but does offers options for how to approach the re-assembly.

I bought this by mistake... its for a 1/2 ton chevy... I need one for a 1 ton. but looks like a good gasket.

screw trying to save a few cents on other brands, they dont measure close at all to the thicc-ness of the felpro's.i used a thing layer of copper RTV spread evenly over both sides as i wanted to account for warping on my 20+ year old trucks exhaust.Dont skimp, give into the sickness for the thicc-ness.

Spend a few extra bucks on this Fel-Pro gasket. Before i got this, I purchased the Bosal 256-1054 Exhaust Gasket. The Bosal blew apart within a month. And this Fel-Pro is twice as thick! Reminder, ALWAYS buy Fel-Pro.
