These work fine until you wear the top down. The metal tip of the mounting protrudes and can scratch what you are polishing. Be mindful of your angles and apply the correct was-included - for the type of job you’re doing red is rough and green is smooth. Use a light touch and mind you RPM.

Pretty good collection of buffing wheels. They are not the softest wheels and they likely won’t get a mirror polish on anything but they did well knocking some tarnish off of a knife I have. The polishing compounds that come with it are in containers that are too small for the biggest wheels to fit in, which is kind of frustrating. They are fine for the smaller sizes.
