I bought this as a replacement for my factory pedal. Works like a charm and seems like the housing is more sturdy than my original. Comes with a cable to connect to the amp. I didn’t realize this when I ordered and bought a cable.

I tried to make a DIY pedal for a Hot Rod Deville III and failed after 8 hours... So I found this and $35 later I have this pedal that works perfect with my Hot Rod Deville III. Adds two channels to the HRD III. Very sturdy pedal, great LED visibility, and 10 foot speaker chord included. Got it at 2pm and was rocking with my country band at 6pm. At this price and quality, DIY is a waste of time, plus the internal electronics of the pedal is way beyond DIY as there is a complete circuit inside that interacts with the circuit of the amp. It's not just two push buttons in a box. That will not work with the Hot Rod line. This real Fender pedal contains the complementary circuit to the amp. Thank you for this great pedal and for the opportunity to make more music.

I got this pedal for my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III amp and it is sweet! The pedal feels heavy (in a good way) and it comes with a cord branded by Fender. I dig the functionality of being able to switch to the 'drive' channel, and then the 'more drive' channel. The switches work clean and the lights indicate which channel you're in, in case you can't tell already. It's a sweet addition to a HRD amp. 🤘

Yep, works as advertised! I bought it to replace my old one, which fell apart when one of the 1/4" nuts came off and the circuit board detached from the box. It wasn't worth spending the hour it was going to take for me to put it back together (and the frustration involved since I wasn't feeling patient enough to try to get all the pieces back together in a relatively small enclosure with my big mitts of hands lol)!

I actually ordered this from musicians friend as the one from amazon was defective and did not change to the crunch channel, just the “more drive†channel on my hot rod deville 2x12.I’m giving this three stars because of the bulky construction. It just doesn’t “blend in†on a standard pedalboard. Although it appears to be pretty durable, they appear to have tried to make this look sleek and modern whereas most fender folks like a classic vintage look.Also three stars because the cable it comes with is cheap/flimsy and only 8 feet long. You will have to purchase a different one if you plan on parking your amp behind you at a show and having any slack on it whatsoever. So add the cost of a new cable to this pedal and you’re in for nearly $50 at the end of the day if you’re a performer.Overall it is getting the job done, but those are my headaches with it.

No es la original made in USA. Está hecha en Méjico y el diseño es diferente de la que viene con el amplificador nuevo. Sino fuera de este detalle, funciona muy bien y es altamente recomendable.
