This was just what the doctor ordered.Our Slant/Fin Steam Boiler Vent Damper gave up the ghost during the holiday week, and the new Field Controls Gas Vent Damper we purchased didn’t have the right plug to fit into the burner control circuit.The new stock Field Controls cord had five pins, but I needed four.I used the "Field Controls 46579100 GVD Gas Vent Damper Universal Wiring Kit" to convert the plug from five pins to four.PERFECT.I uploaded an image of the back of the package so users can see if an adapter for their steam boiler is included in this kit.

Very easy to install did it myself in about 20 minutes including talking the old wires out !

I received the harness and installed it on my furnace damper and aquastat relay. I recently replaced my old broken aquastat relay and the new connection was a 5 pin connection to activate the damper. I purchased this harness because I was not sure which adaptor lead would work. When the package arrived it was just a harness with no adaptor leads. Fortunately the end that attaches to the aquastat relay was a perfect pit. It had the 5 prongs and attached easily to the relay. The side that attaches to the damper was a perfect fit also. Harness is functional and everything is working properly. However if you really need the leads be sure to contact the seller and make sure you are getting what is pictured and in the description.
